Too cut or not to cut?

This is the question I pose to you my 2 or 3 readers out there! Should I make him cut it? Don't get me wrong, I understand it's the thing for boys today to grow their hair out. I also think he looks quite cute with it long and clean(just don't tell him I said that, that would be so not cool with him!) The thing is it gets so greasy and gross. This almost 10 yr old boy is constantly sweating with his constant schedule of basketball and soccer! His Dad and I both have told and shown him how to wash his hair properly. If we want it to actually look clean we have to wash it for him and frankly I'm tired of it. So do I put my foot down and say "if want it long, learn how to keep it clean" or should I just throw my hands up in the air and say forget it and move on to bigger and better battles?

I would give Payton 2 weeks to learn to wash his hair correctly or it's coming off. Or you could tell him that Grandma Nancy really likes his hair long, I bet he would want to cut it right then.

Sk8tr boy!!! Let him leave it! When the chicks tell him it's gross then he'll do something about it!
